Hello: I'm a retired teacher and a snowbird. I spend 6 mon. in MI (Sandy Pines Resort) and 6 mon. in FL... I was married for 15 yrs and divorced remarried for 24 yrs when my wife passed away 6 yrs. ago July. From both marriages I have 8 grown children (one deceased6 years ago), 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren who are all very close and dear to me... I believe myself to have been a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and would be a devoted husband again if I am lucky enough to again find that special someone in my life... I am new to dating again and have been a one women man for so many years that I have forgotten how to play games, so don't expect any. I wasn't good at it when I was younger so I don't believe I would be any better at it now...I am who I am, a man who over the years tried to do what was right, work (I was a teacher & coach), raise a family and be supportive of my wife... I am somewhat quiet until you get to know me and people say that I have a dry sense of humor, whatever that means. If you write I'll get back to you.. a picture would be nice also. I like to golf, go out on my pontoon and ride around the lake or sometime just sit on it and fish for a while. I play 55+ men's softball, I love to golf, l swim in the pool a lot and generally relax and socialize with friends and neighbors... I like to take day car trips and stop when ever and where ever I want, do some wine tasting at the wineries, hit the yard sales and flea markets, listen to country music and 50's & 60's music. With that you can at least hear the music and the words to the songs... I'm not into nascar or dirt track racing, once they go around the track once what else is there to see. I spend a lot of time with my children, grand-children and great-grandchildren when they come to visit as family is important to me. I'll try most anything once so I'm always open to suggestion...It says I smoke occasionally and I am trying to quite, so please give me a chance to finish this tasks.
