I've been involved in music for over forty years, performing mostly jazz and commercial music; sang in a band while attending USF in the 70's for my bachelors and masters degrees. Upon graduation taught high school English and Speech/Debate for a few years, but then returned to performing locally and nationally. Divorced for nineteen years; my only daughter passed away in 2013 in a fatal car crash. Am originally from Pennsylvania, but have lived here in the Tampa Bay area since 1970. Open my consulting practice for manufacturers of recreational watersports products especially life jackets in 1980 believing it would merely be transitional for something else, but has been my primary career for thirty-six years now. Sit on multiple engineering councils for boating safety product and am a published author and lecturer for international boating safety venues including government agencies. Needless to say, I am a vocal advocate for aquatic safety particularly for children and I rescue Dobermans and German Pinschers. Still perform music occasionally including subbing at various Catholic churches in the diocese. And love to dance to the oldies, but goodies.....big band is my passion! At this point in my life, I'm interested in connecting with a kindred spirit who is creative, adventuresome, comfortable in his own skin and is looking for similar traits.
